Amanda Zaida
Director ~ Singer ~ Actor
Amanda is a proud Latin American artist from Sacramento, California currently based in LA/ Orange County. At the moment, she is attending California State University, Fullerton pursuing a BA in Theatre (concentrating in directing).
About Me
From the time she was born, Amanda was in love with the performing arts. She forced her siblings to watch her sing Disney songs, she wrote plays and performed them with her stuffed animals. When she was five, she started getting involved in choirs and shows and continued for years. In 2013, she became involved with CYT Sacramento as an original member and did every show until she graduated high school in 2017. She now returns to teach as well as teaching private voice.
Amanda is a strong believer in the power of the arts and the community that it creates. She hopes to be able to use her platform to be an advocate for mental health, share her story and challenge sizeism, racism and sexism within the arts (& society)
